Downtown Dubai is an easy place to travel with children. The main sights are close together, there is plenty to do indoors when it is warm, and a holiday home gives you space that a hotel room cannot.
Day one: settle in and see the fountain
Check in from 3:00 PM and take it slow. As the sun goes down, walk to the promenade around the Dubai Fountain for one of the evening shows, then grab dinner nearby. Children love the music and the scale of the water jets.
Day two: aquarium, mall and park
Spend the morning at the Dubai Aquarium and Underwater Zoo inside Dubai Mall. Younger children can carry on at KidZania, where they try out grown-up jobs, while older ones may prefer the ice rink. In the late afternoon head to Burj Park for some outdoor time with a view of the Burj Khalifa.
Day three: up the Burj Khalifa
Book an early slot at the observation decks of the Burj Khalifa, when it is usually quieter. Afterwards, have a slow breakfast at home before check-out at 11:00 AM. Ask us about our breakfast set-up so it is ready when you wake up.
Homes with room for everyone
The Manhattan and The Mayfair have four bedrooms and sleep up to eight, with a baby crib on request at The Mayfair. The Coastal sleeps five and The Nordic four, both with a baby crib on request. All four are a short walk from Dubai Mall. Please note that The Andaman is not suitable for children.
